July sales of Conejo
Valley single-family homes totaled 131. This compares to 112 sold in June and
142 a year ago, according to the Conejo Valley Association of
Realtors®
Median sales price
for single-family homes in July 2008 was $681,249; in 2007 it was $824,324. The
median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for
less.
Median prices for
single-family homes in July were as follows: $500,000 for 2 two or fewer
bedroom homes, 525,000 for 34 three-bedroom homes; and $716,836 for 95 four or
more bedroom homes. This compares to sales in July 2007 of $625,000 for 2 two
or fewer bedroom homes, 666,666 for 36 three-bedroom homes; and $897,058 for
104 four or more bedroom homes.
Condominium sales
totaled 44 in July compared to 41 in June 2008 and 42 for July 2007.
Total Sales for all
real estate transactions in July were $143,308,675; for July 2007 the total was
$179,066,049.
New residential
listings totaled 278 in July 2008 compared to 424 in July 2007 and 313 in June
2008.
