The Statement of Information (SI) is one of the most important forms that you fill out. It should be completed and sent to your title officer as soon as possible.

There are two types of searches done on every title order:

1. Property Search
   Encumbrances, trust deeds, voluntary liens
2. People Search
   Tax liens, judgements, bankruptcies, notice of actions

   *Almost 90% of problems on title come from the People Search.
